Summer camp is for ages 3 to 12. Each day is filled with fun and exciting activities for your child that are centered around a particular theme.
We are open from 7:30am – 6:30pm.
It is the mission of the Galveston Health & Racquet Club Summer Day Camp 2008 to provide a positive and motivating environment where children may develop and experience positive social interactions while engaged in individual and team activities that promote the development of the whole child (physically, intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally). It is the hope of GHRC Summer Day Camp 2008 that the attributes acquired through individual discovery and team building activities will guide the campers toward becoming role models and productive citizens of the community.
- Available for kids 3 - 12 years old
- Campers grouped according to age, with 1 counselor per 10 campers
- Certified Teachers as Counselors
- CPR Certified Counselors
- Certified Advanced First Aid Counselors on Staff
- Certified Lifeguards on duty
- Field trips every Friday (additional cost)
- Each day will focus on a different theme which will allow campers to have fun and explore Galveston
- Day Camp hours are 7:30am – 6:30pm. Monday thru Friday
- Opportunity to participate as an individual or as a team with an array of indoor and outdoor activities
Activities include: Indoor Play Structure, Climbing Wall, Swimming, Water Slide, Arts and Crafts, Kid Aerobics, Water Safety, Reading for Fun, Basketball, Video Arcade, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball, and Football. Swimming Lessons Available – Click Here.
